We added an in-law apartment by installing piers and framing off that, once the walls were up, we cut into the existing house for a smooth and easy transition into the apartment. The apartment included its own walk in shower, a kitchenette, living/ bedroom space and a closed in porch with lots of light.
Picture 1 is the start of the project, picture 2 is a progress check of the exterior, picture 3 is a final shot from the exterior. Picture 4 is the closed in porch, pictures 5 and 6 are the bathroom, pictures 7,8 & 9 are the kitchenette shower each end from the existing house to the living space, and pictures 10 and 11 are the living space.
