Garage and Mudroom Addition
This cross gable garage and attached mudroom addition were designed to not only accommodate the family car but to maximize storage and keep things organized.
The second story remains unfinished to be used as storage space or possibly refinished/repurposed for another use in the future.
The biggest challenge we faced during the construction process was finding a log cabin type siding the matched exactly what was on the house. Yes, that isn't actually log construction! After some research we were able to find a local lumber mill that was willing to make a custom milling blade that milled wood to perfectly match what you see on the side of the existing house. Another example of how far we'll go to meet a customer's vision.
